True Love, for Once in My Life

An acclaimed drama following the lives of two lovers who aren’t necessarily meant to be, produced by Fruit Chan

In this moving drama produced by Fruit Chan, art director and scriptwriter Siu Koon-ho makes his directorial debut with a humanistic exploration of traditional marriage. Tracing the lifelong relationship between Sabrina and Andrew, two lovers who aren’t necessarily meant to be, the film boasts powerhouse performances from its acclaimed cast. The couple’s marriage falters in the 90s when Andrew pursues his career in mainland China, though years later, when a retired Sabrina has finally come to terms with their separation and has moved on, her new life is shattered by the news that he is seriously ill.
